Managing Innovation" is a student focused text which examines the importance of innovation in the practice of successful organizations, both manufacturing and service based and across public, private and voluntary sectors. The book begins by discussing a number of key terms, concepts and central themes with a focus on social interaction and networks. This is followed by an introduction to a series of models for mapping technological progress and their practical implications for the management of innovation and strategy, allowing the student to engage analytically with practical models.
