Reseña: This module enables you to understand the role and responsibilities of a bank’s treasury, the practices and procedures involved in the markets where a bank operates and the impact of regulation on its activities. The syllabus is concerned with the money markets, foreign exchange and capital market business from a bank’s perspective.The emphasis is on the London Market and regulation as applied by the UK’s Financial Services Authority (FSA), but candidates are also expected to have or acquire a general awareness of regulation and supervision in the US and the principal EU countries.You are strongly advised to study for International Trade Finance and The Monetary and Financial System prior to this module.
